Who We Are
In Row 24 / Bay 11 grows a vine unintended. Nestled in our Pinot Gris block grows a distinctly different grape, different from the rest, a generic throwback to it’s Pinot Blanc roots.
The vineyard is on a 5ha North facing block on TeKowhai Point Rd overlooking the TePuna Inlet / Bay of Islands – growing on the soils of ancient Kauri forests with a sundrenched mico climate suited to grape production.
Only Northland medal winners for 2018 New Zealand International Wine Show 2018. Awarded Bronze for both 2017 Chardonnay and 2018 Pinot Gris harvests.
Silver Medal – NZ Wine of the Year 2019 Pinot Gris
Bronze Medal at the – NZ International Wine Show – for our Tempranillo Rose’ 2019 and Syrah Rose’ 2020
Ethos – our guiding beliefs and ideals steer us towards the use of biological teas, sprays and composts to keep and improve soil health, and use soft option sprays, fugal, weed and insect control (natural pyrethrum) where possible.
